Cinco de mayo is a annual celebration for the hard fought victory over the French empire. It is celebrated to remind people for the ones who died for Mexico's independence. And there is a difference between Mexican independence day and Cinco de Mayo. Cinco de Mayo is a day for celebration for the victory over the French empire. Mexican independence day is about Mexico's declaration of independence from Spain in 1810.

Most likely my family won't be doing anything for Cinco de Mayo. Mainly because of sports and work. The only people that will be home to celebrate is my mom, sister, and uncle. I will be at practice and my dad will be at work. If we do celebrate the only thing we will do is just have a BBQ.
